1. GENERAL
1.1. By entering the premises, the guest acknowledges the following admission and usage conditions as binding.
2. RESERVATION
2.1. Availability: All reservations are processed in real-time and are subject to availability on our website. The reservation is not binding until the guest has received a booking confirmation via email from Fox in a Box GmbH & Co KG [hereinafter abbreviated as FIAB Graz or FIAB].
2.2. After booking through our website, the guest will receive a booking confirmation via email, which includes the date and time of the booked game as well as the address of the premises.
2.3. Cancelling a Game [Guest]: If the guest has received a booking confirmation, there is no possibility of a refund. Changes or cancellations for standard bookings must be communicated in writing at least 24 hours before the game starts. For special, package, or other offers, the cancellation or cancellation conditions specified in the respective offers apply.
2.4. Cancelling a game [FIAB Graz]: FIAB Graz may accept a guest's delay of up to 10 minutes deviating from the booked time in order not to delay subsequent bookings. Delays beyond this tolerance period automatically result in the cancellation of the game by FIAB Graz. An exception to this rule can only be made if the subsequent game slot is not booked and FIAB Graz is informed about the delay orally or in writing by the booked game time.
3. PRICES
3.1. The prices listed by FIAB include a 60-minute game in our premises and are denominated in Euros [EUR].
3.2. FIAB Graz reserves the right to adjust prices at any time. Services [game] are invoiced based on the time of booking.
4. PAYMENT METHODS
4.1. On-site: FIAB Graz accepts cash and card payments.
4.2. Electronic booking: FIAB Graz only accepts advance payment via PayPal, bank transfer, Maestro, Visa, and Mastercard. If payment is not completed within 15 minutes, the reservation will be automatically deleted.
5. PAYMENT SECURITY AND PERSONAL DATA
5.1. Payment security: FIAB Graz does not store any credit card information and has entrusted the implementation of the payment system to IT specialists in this matter.
5.2. Personal data: By booking via phone or foxinaboxgraz.at, the guest agrees to provide personal data necessary for the booking: name, a valid email address, and a phone number for contact. FIAB Graz uses personal data only for informational purposes and offers regarding FIAB Graz games. The data will not be disclosed to third parties. Exceptions are requests from legal or other governmental authorities authorized by law to request such information. All data is treated with the utmost care and discretion.
5.3. At this point, reference is also made to the applicable data protection regulations. By booking, you agree to these data protection regulations (see footer of the website).
6. HOUSE RULES FOR THE GAME AT Fox in a Box GmbH and Co KG
6.1. Confidentiality: By booking a game, the guest acknowledges all FIAB games, their components, and puzzles as confidential and secret. Disclosure or publication, even in parts, of the game to third parties is expressly prohibited and violates the business interests of FIAB Graz.
6.2. It is strictly forbidden to take photos, film, or record the game in whole or in part. Any violation of this rule will result in confiscation of the device until the end of the game or removal from the premises and may be pursued legally.
6.3. Furthermore, it is prohibited to use or reproduce texts, logos, images, or other elements distributed on the website or through FIAB Graz emails without our written permission.
6.4. The individual facilities in the game rooms are available for visitors for their intended use. It is not allowed to enter the individual facilities outside of the designated usage time or to leave the authorized paths.
6.5. Children under the age of 16 are only allowed entry accompanied by an adult. When visiting as a group of children, the responsible person must be named. It is the responsibility of the accompanying person to supervise the children, ensuring their safety and protecting them from harm.
6.6. The use of all facilities is at the visitor's own risk. The visitor is obligated to ensure their own safety by using the available safety devices, observing signs and instructions, and strictly following the instructions of the supervisory staff.
6.7. FIAB Graz disclaims responsibility for any damage to the guest's personal belongings that have not been deposited at the reception or stored in the designated lockers.
6.8. Visitors who disturb other visitors, enter the facilities outside of the usage time, do not comply with the instructions of the supervisory staff or signs, or otherwise cause disturbance, may be expelled from the premises of FIAB Graz without any entitlement to a refund of the admission fee. The supervisory staff is entitled to exercise all rights deriving from house rules.
6.9. Compensation for damages that do not constitute personal injury is excluded, unless they are intentionally or grossly negligently caused by employees of FIAB Graz or persons attributable to FIAB Graz. Complaints must be made as soon as they are recognized, preferably before leaving the premises.
6.10. The visitor is obliged to compensate for all damages caused intentionally or negligently, especially in connection with behavior contrary to the guidelines set out in the terms and conditions of FIAB Graz. Accompanying persons who have assumed responsibility upon entering the room are responsible for damages caused by children.
6.11. Smoking is prohibited on the premises of FIAB Graz. The use of the FIAB Graz facility under the influence of alcohol or other psychoactive substances is also prohibited.
6.12. Carrying sharp and pointed objects that could cause injury, as well as any objects falling under weapons law, is strictly prohibited!
6.13. Persons suffering from a serious illness [e.g., heart disease, epilepsy], those afraid of darkness or confined spaces, as well as those concerned that their condition may worsen in the facility, are asked to use the facility with caution and to inform the supervisory staff of FIAB Graz before the start of the game.
6.14. The facility is not fully wheelchair accessible. For wheelchair users and those with mobility impairments, it is recommended to coordinate in advance with the FIAB Graz team.
7. APPLICABLE LAW
7.1. The applicable law is Austrian law.
