Do you and your team want to play a Fox Hunt (digital scavenger hunt)? To be able to play the Fox Hunt, it is necessary that at least one smartphone in your team shares its location. The reason: our Fox Hunts use geolocation. You can only start a puzzle once you are at the correct location and the system has recognized your position.
To ensure everything runs smoothly during your Fox Hunt adventure, you’ll find a guide to enabling location sharing here:
iPhone:
Check location sharing settings
1.Privacy settings:
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and make sure that Location Services are enabled.
2. App-specific permission (Google Chrome or Safari):
- Scroll down in Location Services and check which apps have access to your location. You can set the permission to Never, While Using the App, or Always.
Android:
Enable location services
1.Open the settings:
- Tap on the Settings app on your Android device.
2.Go to Location:
- Scroll down and tap on “Location” (sometimes also “Security & Location” or “Connections”, depending on the manufacturer).
3.Enable location:
- Turn on location access by setting the toggle to “On”.
