If you’re looking for a great adventure in an escape room, safety should be the last thing you need to worry about. First, it’s important to understand what an escape room is and how to solve one successfully.
When it comes to safety, Fox in a Box Graz has everything under control—you don’t need to worry, that’s our job. Here are some measures we take to ensure you’re safe with us:
- You are not locked in – even though we offer escape rooms, the focus is on completing a mission, not on being trapped. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, you can simply open the door and leave the room. The emergency exit is clearly marked. You are never dependent on assistance to exit the room.
If necessary, a magnetically locked door can also be opened independently using an emergency release button. - Private rooms – in our rooms, you are only with people you know. In the unlikely event of a real emergency, communication is easier and faster within a group of friends or colleagues.
- Each room is supervised by a dedicated game master (1:1)
This means that in case of an emergency, your game master is responsible solely for your group and is there to assist you. Our game masters also take the time to get to know you. They are committed not only to your success in the game but also to your safety. - Age restriction – we do not allow children under the age of 13 to play without adult supervision on-site.
- Emergency lighting – in the event of a power outage, the main escape route remains illuminated. All doors open automatically if the power goes out.
- Fox in a Box Graz has several fire extinguishers in the common areas.
- Clear emergency procedures – our staff follow our emergency plan: Secure – Rescue – Contain – Protect – Manage
